Privacy Policy

We collect information in three ways:

• Account information you give us directly: name, email, business profile, catalog, services, and team member details.
• Data from connected platforms, only after you explicitly authorize a connection: messages, comments, and mentions from Facebook and Instagram, messages from WhatsApp Business, comments and messages from TikTok, campaign and audience data from Meta Ads, payment and payout records from Stripe, and calendar availability from Google Calendar.
• Usage information generated as you use the product: conversation metadata, AI draft and reply history, analytics, and device or log data needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

We use the information above to:

• Operate the unified inbox and route messages from every connected channel into one place.
• Draft, suggest, and, where you've enabled it, send AI-generated replies to email using your catalog, services, and past replies as context.
• Score leads, generate analytics, and recommend campaign changes for Meta Ads.
• Process payments, bookings, packages, memberships, and event tickets through Stripe.
• Secure your account, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private conversations to train shared or third-party AI models.

Connecting a channel authorizes Chautari Connect to access the specific data that channel's API exposes for the features you use. Each platform has its own rules for how apps like ours may access, store, and delete your data, and we operate within them:

• Facebook & Instagram (Meta Platforms): governed by the Meta Platform Terms. We only request the permissions needed for messaging, comments, and ad management.
• WhatsApp Business: governed by the WhatsApp Business Policy.
• TikTok: governed by the TikTok Developer User Data Policy.
• Meta Ads: subject to Meta's advertising data and platform terms.
• Stripe: payment data is processed and stored by Stripe under its own Privacy Policy; we store only the transaction references needed to show you orders, receipts, and payouts.

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
• Access is scoped by role: team members only see what their permissions allow.
• Access to production data is logged and restricted to what's needed to operate and support the service.
• We do not use your private conversations or business data to train shared AI models.

You can disconnect any individual platform (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, Meta Ads, Stripe, or Google Calendar) at any time from your dashboard. Disconnecting revokes our access token for that platform and deletes the data we had synced from it.

When you delete your Chautari Connect account, we permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days, including:

• Messages, comments, and contacts synced from Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and TikTok.
• Campaign and audience data synced from Meta Ads.
• Business profile, catalog, services, packages, memberships, and booking data.
• AI draft and reply history, and analytics derived from the above.

Exception: payment and transaction records held by Stripe may be retained beyond account deletion where required by tax, accounting, or other law. This exception applies only to those financial records, not to your messages, contacts, or business data.

To request deletion of your account and connected data, delete your account from your dashboard settings, or contact us at privacy@chautari.tech. We will confirm once deletion is complete.

• Export your data at any time from your dashboard.
• Disconnect any connected platform without deleting your whole account.
• Turn AI drafting on or off, per channel, at any time.
• Request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Chautari Connect is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect data from, anyone under 16.

We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes, and notify account owners of material changes by email.
